The month of June marks Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month in North America, as well as a national day for PTSD Awareness on June 27 in Canada. This month, more than ever, we recognize the power of support and community.
The Alberta First Responders Association (AFRA) now represents a community of over 3,000 first responders in our province. Our focus is to empower the implementation of practical and immediate solutions for mental health support and suicide prevention programs for all Alberta First Responders on a priority basis.
