Are you passionate about supporting Alberta’s first responders? Do you enjoy meeting people, attending public events, and helping raise awareness for a meaningful cause? AFRA is looking for enthusiastic Street Team volunteers to help represent the association in the community.
What you’ll help with
As part of the AFRA Street Team, you will help create visibility, build community connections, and support programs that make a real difference for those who serve and protect our communities.
- Promote AFRA’s essential programs at public events and community activations.
- Raise awareness about the mental, emotional, and operational challenges first responders face.
- Support fundraising efforts for critical AFRA initiatives.
- Represent AFRA professionally and help create a welcoming experience for the public.
Common questions
This role is ideal for people who care about supporting first responders, enjoy community events, and are comfortable speaking with the public in a respectful and professional way.
Street Team volunteers may help at public events, awareness campaigns, fundraising activities, AFRA booths, and community outreach opportunities.
No previous experience is required. A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to support AFRA’s mission are the most important qualities.
